I finally figured out a way to classify my Daz content. Yay! That makes me happy. But every time I sit down and start organizing, I go just plain bonkers. I have so many cool toys to play with! Stuff I forgot I even have. And almost every item I sort makes me want to do a new render. My head is so full of new ideas it might pop. Which, admittedly, is a good problem to have. Better than the other way around, after all.
Terra Nouveau
I'm sure everyone knows by now I like to write. And I know I've blabbed here about things like WorldAnvil and Inkarnate, not to mention all the crazy NaNoWriMo things that happen three times a year. Well, I've actually been doing things. Creative things. Can you believe that? Been using WorldAnvil to worldbuild, and Inkarnate to make maps, and I'm writing this wearing my Camp NaNo victory t-shirt because I did that thing too. So, all blabbing aside, if you're curious to see how this stuff is finally all starting to come together and happen after years of flopping about like an out of control firehose, check out my project Terra Nouveau. Not done yet, not even close, but getting there. Finally! https://www.worldanvil.com/w/terra-nouveau-kittenwylde
Uh-oh, I'm in trouble...
I just got ready to add new stuff to my Daz Studio library, because sales. And then I discovered the disaster. I kind of forgot I bought a bunch of stuff during the PC sale. And got a bunch more free. And never thought to categorize it properly in my library. And my long weekend is almost over!!! WAAAH!!! Oh, the joys of being a 3D artist with a card on file during the big sale season... Torn between excited about the new toys, and wanting to crawl under a rock and hide from the inventory explosion.
The Great Poster Saga
Those of you that know me are likely well aware I have an Elder Scrolls Online addiction. As far as I'm concerned, that's my real life, not the one where I have to work all the time. So it's likely no surprise that I'm active in some guilds there. The people running the game decided to have a guild-based contest, where people in guilds worked together to produce a video or a poster advertising the guild for recruitment purposes. One of my guilds did a video, to which I contributed a big shiny rock. If you saw it, you'd understand. ;) Filming happened while I was, of course, working, so I had to let my rock sparkle in my place. Another guild said "Oh, hey, cool! Let's do something!" But... nobody did anything. So I slapped together an image and put it up for consideration, comment, and other input. This one died a quiet death, because I'd misread the rules and screenshots weren't allowed. Oops! But as a 3D artist, guess what, I can barf out fantasy images on demand. So I let
New Release!
I suppose I probably ought to mention this here, given how much people here helped out with the pain-in-the-butt cover design. The Apex Mage is now live! You can find it at Amazon and Smashwords.

I can't bring myself to doing anything meaningful to DS4 human-related content. But I hated the idea of putting furniture into a folder called 'architecture', so I forcibly move the props around to make sense (even if it means doing it all over again for 'essentials' when DIM installs a new version).
What I painstakingly categorise is Poser content - navigating those libraries is crazy. I also do it in DS3 (and then do the 'migrate old database' thing in DS4) because I know how to easily backup the DS3 DB but not the DS4 one ... would you happen to know if it can be done to the DS4 database?
